3. Shipping Methods
3.1 Ocean Freight
The most common method for international heavy equipment shipping:
- RoRo (Roll-on/Roll-off): Equipment is driven onto the vessel. Most economical for wheeled or tracked machinery.
- Container Shipping: Equipment secured within shipping containers. Ideal for smaller machinery or multiple items.
- Flat Rack/Open Top: For oversized equipment that doesn't fit standard containers.
- Break Bulk: Individual cargo loaded by crane. Used for exceptionally large equipment.
3.2 Land Transport
- Flatbed Truck: Standard transport for machinery within land-connected regions.
- Lowboy Trailer: For tall or oversized equipment requiring reduced deck height.
- Heavy Haul: Specialized transport for extra-heavy or oversized loads requiring permits.
3.3 Air Freight
Available for urgent shipments of smaller equipment. Significantly higher cost but fastest delivery time.
4. Shipping Quotes
Shipping costs are calculated based on:
- Equipment dimensions (length, width, height)
- Equipment weight
- Origin and destination locations

6. Shipping Terms
6.1 Incoterms
We ship under the following Incoterms (negotiable based on order):
- FOB (Free On Board): Seller delivers to port; buyer assumes risk once equipment is loaded.
- CIF (Cost, Insurance, Freight): Seller pays shipping and insurance to destination port.
- CFR (Cost and Freight): Seller pays shipping to destination port; buyer arranges insurance.
- DAP (Delivered at Place): Seller delivers to buyer's location; buyer handles import clearance.
6.2 Risk of Loss
Title and risk of loss transfer according to the agreed Incoterm. Unless otherwise specified:
- Domestic shipments: Risk transfers upon pickup by carrier
- International shipments: Risk transfers when loaded onto vessel (FOB terms)
7. Customs and Import Duties
For international orders:
- Import Duties: Buyer's responsibility unless included in quote
- Customs Clearance: Buyer arranges clearance at destination (unless DAP terms)
- Documentation: We provide commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin
- Customs Broker: We can recommend brokers in major destinations
Research your country's import requirements before ordering. Some equipment may require special permits or certifications.
8. Shipping Insurance
All shipments include basic carrier liability coverage. We strongly recommend full-value marine cargo insurance:
- Insurance is included in CIF quotes
- Additional insurance available for FOB/CFR shipments
- Coverage typically at 110% of equipment value
- All-risk coverage recommended for heavy machinery
9. Tracking and Updates
Once your equipment ships, you'll receive:
- Shipping confirmation email with tracking details
- Bill of lading or waybill number
- Vessel name and voyage number (ocean freight)
- Estimated arrival date at destination port
- Regular updates on shipment status
10. Receiving Your Equipment
